SALICURE  12% contains Salicylic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called keratolytic agents. It is used to treat hyperkeratotic lesions like corns, warts, psoriasis, chronic dermatitis, keratosis pilaris, ringworm and athlete’s foot etc. It can also be used to treat acne, dark spots, pigments and sun damage by peeling the superficial skin layers of the face.Salicylic acid is a potent keratolytic agent. It allows the epidermal cells to slough off which dissolves corns, warts, dark spots and pigmentation. It clears the clogged follicles and reduces pimples formation. It helps in the resolution of psoriatic lesions either alone or in combination with other drugs and re-establishes the growth of a normal skin.

SALICURE  12% is highly flammable in nature, and therefore avoid smoking or going near naked flames, as it may increase the risk of serious burns. Avoid contact of this medicine with fabrics (such as clothing, bedding and dressing), as they may burn more easily when comes in contact with fire. Use this medicine as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Take the required quantity of the medicine and gently apply it on the affected area twice daily. The most common side effects of this medicine are dry skin and skin irritation. Contact your doctor if these symptom bothers you.
