How Does It Work?
Slim
top 120 mg capsule contains orlistat, which decreases the absorption of
fats in the small intestine and stomach. The medication mainly inhibits the
gastrointestinal lipase enzyme and prevents converting insoluble fats into
absorbable free fatty acids.
Directions for Use of
Slimtop 120 MG
Take the medication in the dose and for the duration advised
by your doctor
Do not chew, crush or break the capsule in half
Swallow the capsule as a whole with a glass of water
Do not stop the medication treatment if your symptoms
decrease
Do not open the
capsule or remove the content of the capsules
Interactions with
other medicines
Do not use Slim top capsules
with ciclosporin, which can decrease immunosuppressive efficacy.In addition,
using this medication with anti-coagulants like warfarin will require
monitoring of INR ratio in the patients. Slimtop capsules should not be used
with amiodarone, resulting in toxicity and requiring ECG monitoring in patients.
Do not use this medication along with acarbose. Do not use slimtop capsules
with lamotrigine which can result in convulsions.Other general Interactions.Avoid
using this medication if you are suffering from heart disease. Avoid using this
medication if you have a history of seizures.
