About Ostospray Nasal Solution 3.7 ml
Ostospray
Nasal Solution 3.7 ml belongs to groups of medications called hypocalcemic
agents, primarily indicated for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis in
women more than five years postmenopause when alternative therapies are
unsuitable. Post-menopausal osteoporosis is a medical condition that causes
thinning and weakening of the bones during/after a menopausal period.
Ostospray Nasal Solution 3.7 ml contains Calcitonin, a human
hormone that prevents bone breakdown and increases bone density (thickness).
Thus it helps to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
Use Ostospray
Nasal Solution 3.7 ml as prescribed by the doctor. Ostospray Nasal Solution 3.7

Medicinal Benefits
Ostospray
Nasal Solution 3.7 ml contains Calcitonin, a calcitonin receptor agonist that
prevents the loss of bones that happens after menopause and helps to rebuild
bones. Calcitonin is a hormone that the C-cells in the thyroid gland produce
and release. It opposes the parathyroid hormone's action, helping regulate the
blood’s calcium and phosphate levels. Ostospray Nasal Solution 3.7 ml works by
suppressing the activity of the osteoclasts (cells that break down bone). When
the osteoclasts break down bone tissue, the calcium enters the bloodstream.
